The Marshall Lowry Soul Orchestra draws its influences from Motown, 70s funk film scores, and the music of J Dilla. Prominent artists which inspired this project include Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Isaac Hayes, Curtis Mayfield, and Miguel Atwood-Ferguson.
